What Covid safety measures do Bucks Academy of Music Ltd have in place during the current UK Covid restrictions?

What makes Bucks Academy of Music Ltd so special?

Bucks Academy of Music Ltd classes, lessons, events, masterclasses and course are presented by highly trained professional musicians who are soloists, recording artists, chamber/orchestra players and teachers in their own right. They have a wealth of experience to inspire and educate children and adults alike.

What does the payment for the classes, 1-1 lessons and other BAM events include?
Each class, lesson, event is presented & performed live by highly experienced professional musicians. The event costs factor in paying the professional musicians, insurance, room hire and everything else that comes with running these types of events.

 

Can I use my phone during Bucks Academy of Music Ltd events to take pictures or videos?
We kindly ask that you do not use phones during any event without our prior permission. We do not permit the making of any audio and/or visual recording or transmission of the musicians’ performance (including social media).

How do I book Bucks Academy of Music Ltd events?

Please go to our online booking page and secure your place through our secure online payment system. Class places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Why do Bucks Academy of Music Ltd not offer 'Drop-in' Classes?It is important for us to gauge the numbers of people we may have at any one class (plus hall capacity) and we do not want to be in a position where we sadly have turn anyone away, hence taking advance bookings. Drop in classes are therefore not available. All bookings must be done online.  We don't like to be put in that uncomfortable position, plus it is a wasted journey for you. For the purposes of Covid safety, we can allow anyone to be admitted to the class who is not noted on the original booking as we require contact details for NHS track and trace purposes.

If the class is showing full, please sign up to to our waiting list,  We will then contact you as soon as a place becomes available.
 

Booking via mobile phone:

If booking a place on your mobile phone, instead of seeing the "Book Now" button, you will be given the option to join the waitlist. If a spot frees up for a class, the first person in the list receives a notification on mobile. You will then have 30 minutes to accept or decline the offer to join the class before the next person on the waitlist gets the opportunity to join the session. If no one on our waitlist chooses to book the class, the spot becomes open to the general public.

 

Booking via a desktop:

If booking a place on your desktop, you will see a 'Join Waitlist' button. When you click it, you are invited to download the Wix mobile app through which you can join the waitlist.

Do you supply tea and coffee?
We don’t supply tea and coffee due to health and safety issues with young children. However, there are numerous high street coffee shops a stone’s throw away should you wish to bring your own hot drinks with labelled and covered/screw top lids. Please refrain from sharing drink bottles in the interest of Covid-Safety.

Medical / Health

If you or your child suffer from a medical condition that you feel we need to know about, please tell us and this will be noted and treated confidentially. If you are not sure whether your child is well enough to attend, please seek professional medical advice from a GP etc prior to attending a class, as the staff at Bucks Academy of Music Ltd are not medically qualified to make this assessment.

Public Liability Insurance
We have public liability insurance (ask us if you’d like details.)

Bucks Academy of Music Ltd reserves the right to change the class lead/performer at any time to be replaced with someone of equal standing in the profession.

 

Bucks Academy of Music Ltd  reserves the right, in our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove portions of this agreement at any time.

Complaints
We hope that you will have a lovely time participating in Bucks Academy of Music Ltd events. However,  If for any reason you are not happy with something, please do not hesitate to get in touch with us directly and we would be happy to address your concerns or suggestions. We will always do our best to resolve any problems as quickly as possible and to everyone’s satisfaction.
